Hi, I’m Dina Thoma, the owner of Events by Dina and The Shop in Livermore Falls, Maine. I’m an event planner who loves bringing people together through creativity, celebration, and community. From custom balloon arches to beautifully themed birthday parties and special occasions, I take pride in making every event feel personal and unforgettable.

At The Shop, I’ve created a space where local artisans and small businesses can showcase their work. We host workshops, craft fairs, and seasonal events that celebrate local talent and community spirit. The Shop is also home to our food pantry, and we regularly organize food drives and fundraisers to help local families in need. Giving back to my community is truly at the heart of everything I do.

 

I also run Ma’s Comfort Food Truck with my family — a farm-to-truck business serving up hearty, homemade comfort food made from scratch using recipes passed down from both of our grandmothers. From our soups and chilis to our baked potatoes and sandwiches, every dish is made with love and a touch of family tradition. Through my events, my shop, and the food truck, my mission is simple: to spread joy, build connections, and make a positive difference in the community I love — bringing communities together, one event at a time.
